Hops for the memories...

Taste Testers' code chart.

Very new bottling system hard at work.

Art work chosen for beer bottle labels.

Aged in wooden barrels for that craft taste.

Stout & Ipa samples

Oh, the stout disappeared.

Bridge 99 Brewery was next, a Nano Brewery operation producing craft beers for a small niche.

Note: They use pellet hops not leaf hops life Deschutes Brewery.

Minions welcome...

We were all feeling a bit buzzed, designated driver was clean.

Bigger operation, still on the Macro brewery level. This is only a 2 year old operation.

Brew Pub & Eatery

I agree Jack.

Light fare before more samples.

My choses look about the same, but they each had a different taste.

Interesting

Not one of my favorites.

This is their top sellers, pretty good.

Quality Control is in the laboratory. My spelling is better after a few beers, and my bowling too.

Do you Can, Can, Can...

Italian canning machine.

Cans are like "Mini kegs" for your beer, keeps it fresher than bottles because sunlight is death to beer. Shipping weight, breakage, and storage costs are lower with cans compared to bottles operations.

Worthy uses barrels to age some of their craft beers.

Cold storage is kept at 42 degrees Fahrenheit. Adjust your home refrigerator accordingly.

CRUX was our last brewery stop, just samples in the Brew Pub.

Seventh Mountain Stables

Thursday May 7, 2015

I just fed them 2 apples and they wanted more.
This was a highly recommended place by my fellow Brew Bus companions.
It totally lived up to the recommendations. Special thanks to Aubrey.  The Victorian Cafe

Eggs Benedict St Jacques

My steak rode in style.

Drake Park and Downtown Bend

This is the theater I saw Animal House 5 times in 1978.

My first apartment, top floor... great view and private parking slot... not bad for a struggling college student at the time. This apartment building is half a block from beautiful Mirror Pond in Drake Park.

Drive to check out the mountain vistas.

Drake Park and Mirror Pond. The "Bend" of the bend in the Deschutes River.

Many young families enjoy this incredibly beautiful park

On Saturdays, I used to watch community softball games between plumbers and electricians. Great community spirit.
